West Coast Provisions
Glen Allen, VA
Always on the hunt for the perfect calamari, I was thrilled to find that West Coast Provisions delivered. Their version was crispy, tender, and paired with an excellent sauce—easily a 10/10.
For entrées, the Maui Mahi sauce was flavorful, though the fish was slightly overcooked. However, the crab cakes were impressively dense with minimal filler.
Bottom Line
Despite a small hiccup with the fish, the quality, flavors, and overall experience make this a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Isle of Capri
Virginia Beach, VA
Perched on the top floor of the Holiday Inn, this is a hidden gem combining Italian cuisine with panoramic ocean views.
The scallops were seared beautifully, and the filet practically melted in the mouth. Service was a bit slow, but the view made the wait easier to overlook.
Bottom Line
For a romantic evening or a special night out, Isle of Capri offers exceptional food and breathtaking views.

Los Panchos
Short Pump, VA
A consistent, no-frills spot for classic Mexican fare. The Pollo 57 was a bit salty this time, but the pork carnitas were flavorful and tender.
Portions were generous and chips were fresh. Margaritas were basic but did the trick.
Bottom Line
While it may not be a standout, it’s a good go-to when you’re craving a casual Mexican meal with festive vibes.

Sushi-O
Midlothian, VA
The Best Sushi in Richmond. Co-owner Andy knows sushi inside and out. The fish is bright, buttery, and beautifully prepared.
Make sure to try the 007 Roll—it is packed with flavor and silky texture.
Bottom Line
With the freshest seafood in Richmond, this is a standout spot. If you’re looking for the best sushi in Richmond, this is it.

Turning Point
Glen Allen, VA
A cozy breakfast spot with great coffee. The staff is warm and friendly. While food can take a little longer to arrive, the quality is worth it.
The pancakes are massive and fluffy. The Belgian waffles have crisp edges and are light on the inside.
Bottom Line
We definitely recommend Turning Point for a friendly, delicious breakfast with great coffee and generous portions.

Thai Thai II
Bethlehem, PA
A cozy BYOB with hits and misses. The Chicken Pad Thai was a 7/10 (chicken was a bit dry), but the Green Curry was a perfect 10/10.
Service was extremely slow this visit, but the food came out hot.
Bottom Line
Thai Thai II has flavorful dishes and a cozy vibe. I’d return especially for that green curry.

Dunkin’ Donuts
Virginia Beach, VA
The drive-thru staff wasn’t eager to help, and service felt rushed. However, the sausage and cheese croissant was surprisingly delicious and large.
Bottom Line
Food was better than anticipated, but poor service took away from the experience. Good if you are in a hurry.
